Exhibition space for the bC India exhibition extended to 80,000m²

Space planned for the bC India exhibition next year has been extended by 60% to 80,000m² following increased interest.

“Strong interest from international as well as Indian manufacturers of construction machinery has shown that the co-operation between Messe München [organisers of Bauma] and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which organises ConExpo-Con/Agg, has been very much welcomed by the sector,” said Eugen Egetenmeir, managing director of Messe München.

The event, being held in Mumbai, from 8-11 February 2011, will in future be every two years.

Thomas Löffler, chief executive officer of bC Expo India, said that such an event is being held in India because it is one of the most important emerging sales markets and investment locations in the world, and the international construction and building material machinery industry wants to access the Indian market.

He said: “India customers wish to have a broad overview about the global offering in construction machinery.”
