Northern Ireland-based Telestack unveiled its new QF410
hopper feeder, which is aimed at improving productivity on site, at Bauma
“It is designed for use with conveyors or mobile crushing and screening equipment,” said Telestack commercial director Malachy Gribben.
The 400tonne per hour model is available mounted either on wheels or tracks and can be specified with a diesel hydraulic engine or electric drive. The QF410 is road legal and can also be used for container loading as well as feeding aggregate operations.
“Our machines are aimed at saving fuel and improving efficiency and we are seeing good growth from companies looking to invest in this kind of technology,” said Gribben. “Efforts to improve health and safety are also driving investment – automation of the loading removes people from the quarry floor so the risk of accidents is reduced.”
