Trimble increases excavator efficiency with new package
First published in bauma Preview - March 22, 2019
Trimble says that it can boost working efficiency for excavators working in large operations with its latest LOADRITE Payload Management for Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform for Excavators package. Productivity can benefit from the integration of these systems, allowing contractors to track bucket-by-bucket payload. Users can now monitor mass haul progress using the same Trimble Earthworks display. The system is said to be highly versatile and can be installed on any hydraulic excavator equipped with the Trimble Earthworks system. According to the firm, this package offers an easy transition between grade control and payload management, maximising the benefit for the customer. An important feature is that the system can be used on excavators from different manufacturers, providing an aftermarket solution that suits operators running mixed fleets. The system integrates grade control with payload management, boosting versatility. Users can dig precisely to grade and then track each bucket load and truck load in real-time as work progresses onsite.
