TOLLTEC builds on Russian experience
TOLLTEC specialises in the design, development and
implementation of projects and the production of intelligent transport systems.
This includes automated systems for traffic management and tolling. Advanced
design, manufacture and product testing techniques allow the company to perform
to world-class standards. At Intertraffic, it is looking to develop
partnerships with international companies whose capabilities can complement
those of its specialist subsidiaries.
Subsidiary company LLC ARS specialises in the integrated
development and manufacture of equipment for toll roads, such as toll plaza
equipment including ticketing machines, optical barriers, on-board units and so
on. The company offers a full range of services including engineering,
manufacture, installation and maintenance for automated traffic management
systems.
Another subsidiary, LLC Svetovod, has operated in the
Russian market since 2003 and specialises in the design and manufacture of
LED-based products such as variable message signs and lighting systems for
directional lane control, as well as the supporting software and hardware
systems. Innovative techniques allow the company to produce high-tech devices
which are manufactured using composite materials which meet internationally
recognised safety and environmental standards.
Currently, TOLLTEC is responsible for the engineering and
design stages of the Moscow-St Petersburg high-speed toll road. It is also
involved in similar work for parts of the intelligent transport system for the
KAD ring road around St Petersburg,
and the 335-401km section of the M-4 Don high-speed toll road.
