Furukawa updates HCR110-ED and DCR22 drill ranges
First published in bauma Preview - April 3, 2019
Furukawa has upgraded the HCR1100-ED, one of the smaller offerings in its crawler drill range.
In addition to component changes, the interior of the machine has been updated to have a more modern look and feel, making it look similar to Furukawa’s bigger machines.
The new DCR22 down-the-hole (DTH) drill has been modified to feature a rugged frame designed to cope with the roughest terrains.
Performance components have received increased capacities and engineers have implemented features from the Furukawa tophammer range that are designed to decrease the input power, and therefore reduce fuel consumption.
