First published in bauma Preview - April 3, 2019
Kohler-SDMO is equipping its containerised generating sets with engines to offer a more compact solution for market demands with low fuel consumption and low emission levels.
These containerised generating sets are within the company’s rental power range and offer power levels between 800 and 1500 kVA stand-by in 20’ dry containers.
The company says the solution will meet rental specifications in terms of capacity, cooling, maintenance, ergonomics and versatility of use.
Kohler-SDMO’s engineering department is exploring several routes for developing power levels of 1100 and 1400 kVA that comply with Stage V.
