Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) and was established in 1972 in Oosterhout, The Netherlands. It is responsible for the manufacture, sales and marketing of Hitachi construction equipment throughout Europe, parts of Africa, and Israel.

Hitachi produces the widest range of hydraulic excavators in the world, ranging from one-tonne minis to 800-tonne mining excavators. Every single model delivers a smooth and productive performance, and is comfortable, safe and reliable. In addition to excavators, HCME also supplies wheeled loaders, rigid dump trucks and other construction equipment for special applications.

Tomorrow’s job site

Sharing its vision for tomorrow’s job site, HCME will showcase a wide range of innovative products and services at bauma on stand number FN/718. Included in the line-up on the 6,495m2 display will be Hitachi’s first ICT hydraulic excavator with machine control in Europe, the ZX210X-6. Unveiled recently by HCME, it offers unrivalled accuracy, easy operation and can enable projects to be completed up to 50% faster than standard excavators.

Several new Zaxis-6 mini excavators and compact wheeled loaders, and a selection of special application machines – factory modified to meet the demands of specific activities, such as slope finishing and deep excavation – will also be on display.

Visitors to the exhibition can test their skills on the dump truck simulator and get a virtual view of some selected Hitachi machines. They will also be able to download a dedicated bauma app in advance to ensure that they have the best experience on the Hitachi stand.
