Macro helps DoTs see the big picture

Macro is looking to make a splash in the North American market after recently spinning off Ross and Baruzzini, an ITS leader in the Middle East for more than 50 years.

A mobility design engineering firm, Macro helps DOTs plan, design and assess transportation networks from surface roads and highways to light rail. According to Megan Cecily Huff, vice president, Macro, the company consults on what steps to take when building a network, what technology is needed and how to evaluate specific products. It will even oversee implementations if required.

“If cities want to make a positive impact, they need to revolutionise the way they think about, plan for and advance mobility,” Huff said.

Macro is based in the Philadelphia area and is focusing on developing relationships with DOTs in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
