PlanetM gateway to Michigan’s mobility ecosystem

Visitors to the Annual Meeting are being encouraged to check out the one place that has a mobility strategy which aligns the collective mobility stakeholders and strategies across Michigan state. PlanetM connects mobility companies to Michigan’s people, places and resources dedicated to the evolution of transportation mobility.

PlanetM is where big ideas in mobility are born and where Michigan’s vast talent is brought together to work toward advancing the future of the mobility industry. Michigan is home to two world-class autonomous vehicle testing sites, leading the nation in testing and development of next-generation transportation technology. Not to mention, PlanetM’s network of industry leaders, universities, private and public organisations and government agencies has positioned the state to remain the leader in all things mobility for years to come.

“Early on, leaders at the Michigan Department of Transportation saw the potential for automated vehicles to revolutionise mobility,” said MDoT director Paul C. Ajegba. “With our ground-breaking legislation and robust private industry partnerships, we expect Michigan to continue to lead in this arena.”

PlanetM also helps mobility companies accelerate innovation by providing the opportunity to access advanced testing facilities in Michigan through grants.
