Bestmile: conducting mobility services orchestra

Bestmile-RaphaelGindrat-001Hailed as being instrumental in “building a new mobility paradigm” – and with glowing reviews from users around the world – the Bestmile “orchestration engine” platform on display at ITS World Congress 2019 demonstrates how this software is driving the growth in mobility services. Bestmile’s orchestration engine automates booking, dispatching, routing, ride matching, and pooling, while allowing mobility service providers to define predictable design parameters for both fleets and passengers.

Fleet parameters include fleet size, vehicle locations, vehicle utilisation, booking options, and pooling thresholds, while passenger parameters include ride times, wait times, and excess times when pooling.

Bestmile’s all-in-one platform features a dashboard that provides a comprehensive view and tools to plan, supervise, orchestrate and analyse mobility services. Also available from the company are mobile applications for travellers and drivers

“We help mobility providers around the world deliver valuable ride-hailing, robotaxi, micro-transit and autonomous shuttle services,” says Raphael Gindrat, CEO of Bestmile (right).

While the world’s attention is often focused on new types of connected vehicles, less attention is given to how these vehicles can work together as intelligent fleets.

Bestmile says that it offers the only fleet orchestration platform of its kind able to support human-driven and autonomous vehicles of any brand or type, plus on-demand and scheduled services, and multi-modal integration.

According to the company, its platform enables mobility providers to move more people with fewer vehicles while meeting business objectives and passenger requirements.
