Ertico looks east to Russia

ITS Central Eastern Congress 2020 will be a chance for industry stakeholders to see first-hand Russia’s developments in smart mobility.

Taking place in the city of Kazan, capital of Tatarstan, it will be Ertico – ITS Europe’s first foray into the region. “People are not really aware of what happens in Kazan,” says Ertico – ITS Europe CEO Jacob Bangsgaard (pictured, left, with CFO Didier Gorteman). “They will be impressed: Kazan is very strong in IT and vehicle manufacture, and innovation there is supported from the highest political level.

The start-up community there is also very interesting: traffic management, Mobility as a Service and automation are three big areas.”
