Haenni Instruments is at ITS World Congress in Singapore to highlight the success, reliability and accuracy of its range of weighing products and systems.

The company’s history dates back to 1977, when Haenni sold its first wheel load scale (serial #1): every year since, for more than 40 years, that first scale still has an annual workshop test and remains in operation.

In the US market alone, the company has so far sold almost 25,000 units; they’ve become so well known some officials there refer to weighing instruments generically as ‘haennis’.

At the World Congress, the company is demonstrating how its patented hydraulic measurement systems give Haenni wheel load scales unmatched accuracy and acceptance in the global marketplace.

OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology) certified, and known as the thinnest on the market, the company’s scales are light, robust and long-lasting.

Offering a variety of types, sizes and ranges Haenni products are used across a range of different applications.

On its booth, the company is focusing on the WL 108, featuring its patented hydraulic measurement element, plus the addition of innovative features, including wireless communication, 180-hour battery life, and a weight of only 16kg.

For weigh-in-motion (WIM) applications, Haenni is featuring its WL 400 strip sensor, specifically designed for pre-selection.

It can also be used as a LSWIM (low-speed WIM) system – up to 20 kmh – and has a capacity of 40 tonnes per axle. With no display, it is connected to a PC using the company’s EC 200 software for further processing, visualisation and printing out of results.
