Hikvision demos traffic flow solutions

Hikvision is here in Singapore with an integrated suite of intelligent transportation solutions that make the travel experience safe and convenient.

The company is demonstrating a series of traffic cameras for checkpoint, intersection and highway uses, including violation detection, licence plate recognition, vehicle feature recognition, and speeding capture.

Its cameras observe and monitor traffic flow; when traffic build-up at an intersection is identified, the Hikvision control solutions allow traffic lights to be coordinated to keep traffic flowing as freely as possible. The company’s booth also features a set of smart mobile devices for road patrolling and enforcement purposes.

These include its vehicle-mounted panoramic PTZ kit, as well as rugged, wearable body cameras and a corresponding dock station for charging and data collection.

Hikvision also features its state-of-the-art smart parking solution, which gives customers precise parking guidance using indicator lights and displays, straightforward vehicle search at kiosks, and quick entry and exit with ANPR systems.

As well the company is demonstrating its AI algorithm training system which enables ITS partners to train algorithms for specific customer application needs and deployments.
