ITS Hall of Fame: industry veterans honoured

This year’s ITS World Congress has honoured three veteran industry professionals by inducting them into the Hall of Fame. The trio is: Brian Negus (pictured, right), chair of the ITS Australia policy committee; Jim Barbaresso (centre), national ITS and emerging mobility solutions practice leader at HNTB in the US; and Svend Tofting (left), founder of ITS Denmark. The honour is awarded annually to people who personify the highest standards of leadership and who have helped drive the ITS industry forward. During lengthy careers in the industry, each of them has been instrumental in organising the ITS World Congress in their home countries (Australia, the US and Denmark, respectively). Negus is the first Australian to receive the award.
