ITS with AI and edge computing

Kyland is here in Singapore to highlight its Hoursis Smart Transportation 2.0 solution, incorporating AI, machine learning, edge computing and autonomy.

The product enables smart city operators to optimise traffic operations, reduce congestion and offer smart services ready for V2X in the future. And Hoursis is fully compliant with all international traffic standards, including NTCIP, UTMC and GB20999.

Hardware innovations within the system include modular design for flexible expansion and adjustment with multi-functions, as well as unified/easy management and control – helping reduce infrastructure investment and maintenance costs.

An IPv6 based two-wire bus structure helps deliver power supply and data communication in a two-wire cable, simplifying wiring installation, further cutting engineering and maintenance costs.

At the heart of Hoursis are innovative algorithms that provide edge cloud computation, networked control, dynamic sectors as computation units, and microseconds-level real-time clock synchronisation.
