Nokia connects on networking and IoT

ADV NOKIANokia will use the ITS World Congress Singapore to focus on how the company’s networking, analytics and IoT solutions enable highway operators to create safe, efficient and sustainable highway systems.

On show will be solutions for traffic management and tolling that reduce costs and increase safety with an intelligent ultra-broadband network that supports real-time multimedia communications for traffic management systems, roadside sensors and cameras, vehicles, travellers and highway stakeholders.

Also being featured will be cooperative traffic systems that prepare for the rise of connected and autonomous vehicles with the Nokia roadside cloud.

This solution delivers all the capabilities needed to provide ultra-responsive support for V2X and safety-critical communications applications.

Nokia will also be focusing on intelligent operations, maintenance and security with lower OPEX and keeping travellers safe with IoT and analytics capabilities that support remote asset management, predictive maintenance, video analytics and a framework for deploying and managing IoT devices.
