SBG Systems is on the ITS France Pavilion to present its IMU (inertial measurement unit), attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS), and its inertial navigation systems (INS).

The company is highlighting three types of product.

According to SBG, its Ellipse Series (0,1° RMS) is the most advanced miniature inertial sensor for navigation and motion. It’s also available in an even smaller version, Ellipse Micro, that weighs only 10 grams and is ideal where space constraints are an issue.

The Ekinox Series (0,03° RMS) brings robust and cost-effective micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) to the tactical grade, with a smart balance of size, accuracy, and price.

Meanwhile, the Apogee Series (0,01° RMS) is said to deliver the best performance under GNSS outage conditions, making it ideal for challenging applications.

Combined with cutting-edge calibration techniques and advanced embedded algorithms, SGB says these products are ideal solutions for industrial and research projects, such as vehicle testing, unmanned vehicle control, antenna tracking, and camera stabilisation.

It says for unmanned vehicle control, SBG’s fusion of its GNSS receiver and vehicle odometer provides a robust position for all conditions, including forests, tunnels, and urban canyons.
