More than 35 years ago, Q-Free set out to create sustainable traffic solutions that would transform the way people move.

Visitors to the company’s booth here in Singapore can see how, today, Q-Free’s solutions are deployed across all continents to meet challenges unimaginable when the company started.

Q-Free’s appearance at this year’s World Congress is very much a celebration of proven, long-term success, with it focusing on projects that reflect its growth and expertise – as well as its capabilities as a proven solutions provider across the transport sector.

Q-Free is highlighting a range of projects, including the tolling installation on Sydney’s Cross City Tunnel; geo-fencing for smart urban mobility in Oslo; new outdoor parking sensors in the US; and using AutoPass solutions for barrier-free payment and access control on ferries at Norwegian ports.

Q-Free is also featuring its range of state-of-the-art tolling solutions, and showing how Its technology and products, combined with consulting and managed services, ensure that the right choices are made at every point in the tolling process – from definition to realisation and on-going operation.

Its systems enable public and private operators to collect sustainable means of funding for new infrastructure, which can then be used to keep existing roads safely maintained, as well as reducing road congestion and air pollution through congestion charging schemes.
