Allu-C Series Jaw Crusher 2 lo resThe Allu Crusher bucket can handle hard materials

Allu says its new crusher bucket means it now has a full line of attachments for crushing and screening any kind of material.

The global launch of the new crusher series will initially see three crusher models being introduced for excavators in the 10tonne to 33tonne range

The Finnish manufacturer of material handling attachments adds that the new buckets are capable of crushing any kind of hard material including limestone and concrete, and are suitable for use in quarrying, demolition and recycling.

The largest of the three new crusher buckets is the 2537 which weighs 3.7tonnes and is suitable for quarrying applications. Two smaller buckets are suitable for use by contractors in housing construction and demolition work.

The buckets in the crusher series have features including reversible crushing, which is designed to reduce the potential for jamming, blockages, or obstruction with rebar, whilst delivering greater levels of production and reducing the need for any manual involvement in the crushing process.

A feed plate design is built into the jaw to ensure that the feeding function in a fully loaded chamber delivers high rates of production with minimal risk of bridging.

The buckets also incorporate simple mechanical pin adjustment for output size regulation, which is designed to make the entire crushing process easy and safe with quick adjustment for various output specifications.

Allu says the crusher “opens like a clam” to ensure easy and quick replacement of wear parts through ease of access – saving time spent on maintenance, minimising risk to operators and maximising productive crushing.

The crusher series joins Allu’s existing Transformer and Processor ranges of materials handing attachments.

Jeroen Hinnen, vice president of sales for Allu Group, commented: “The Allu Transformer range offers unique productivity and efficiency benefits on soft rock and other materials, whilst the Allu Crusher range enables hard rock, and often troublesome demolition materials, to be effectively reduced.”

Allu general manager Kauko Juuri said: “We invented the screener bucket and are a market leader. We have over 100 dealers and this year we will have new dealers and new products.”

The company says it has already sold some of the new crusher buckets at the show.
