Indeco launches IMP 25 Combi Cutter with new jaws
First published at CONEXPO-CON/AGG - March 13, 2020
Indeco’s IMP 25 Combi Cutter features a new jaw design to help it munch through structures with greater efficiency. The jaw features two-sided, bolt-in concrete teeth, which can be replaced in the field, together with shear knives in its throat to cut through steel reinforcing bars.
“The idea is to do things quickly, to demolish concrete, cut steel and get everything down to the ground as quickly as possible so that it can then be processed with secondary attachments,” says Ryan Murphy, marketing director for Indeco North America.
The 2.3m attachment weighs 2,608kg, with a maximum opening of 1.1m. It delivers a maximum clamping force at its tip of 86tonnes and a maximum clamping force at its shears of 308tonnes.
