Long-distance concrete paving on show at bauma 2019 with the SF-2404 from Power Curbers

US-based Power Curbers group has responded to customer demand for larger four-track paving units with the SF-2404 paver from Power Curbers, which can handle any concrete paving project from 2m to 7.5m wide.
The unit’s telescoping frame allows simple width adjustment without having to add rigid frame extensions for all occasions, from conventional paving to offset and custom applications.
Power Curbers’ Simple Steer track positioning and a one-touch rotary knob to control steering makes the SF-2404 easy to operate, according to the company.
Thanks to the four tracks, when readying the machine for transport, it can be loaded without having to take off any of the tracks. The operator can prep the machine without leaving the controls. When loaded, the dimensions are 3.2m high, 3.6m wide with paving kit (or 3m without paving kit) and just over 9m long.
The Cummins QSB6.7 water-cooled engine is Tier 4 and there is also a Tier 3 version for developing markets.
Importantly, the SF-2404 comes stringless-ready from the factory and is validated for use with Leica, Topcon and Trimble 3D GPS control systems.
