Ammann’s new soil compactors unveiled at bauma 2019

High productivity and versatility is claimed for Ammann’s latest soil compactor models. There are four models for sale in global markets, with a fifth unit being made in the firm’s Indian factory for sale in the local market as well as emergent territories.
As with other machines in the Ammann line-up, the ARS compactors are offered telematics-ready, allowing fleet owners to monitor operating and production performance as well as maintenance needs remotely.
The ARS70 weighs 6.5tonnes and is powered by a Kubota diesel delivering 55.4kW, while the ARS110 weighs 10.86tonnes and is powered by a Deutz diesel delivering 100kW. Meanwhile the ARS150 weighs in at 14.84tonnes and is powered by a 115kW Deutz diesel, with the ARS200 weighing 19.75tonnes and being powered by a 160kW Deutz diesel. All of these models are Tier 4 Final/Stage V compliant. Meanwhile the ARS122 is a 10.1tonne Indian-made model with power from a Cummins diesel delivering 74kW, which meets Tier 3 requirements and suits customers in emergent markets.
