Ammann’s productive compaction plates at bauma 2019
First published at bauma - April 9, 2019
Ammann’s new APH plate compactors offer high performance and productivity, as well as durability says the giant Swiss manufacturer. These units meet the latest requirements for emissions in Europe and the US.
There are four models in the range with all of the units being telematics ready, allowing rental fleets to monitor location, operating performance and maintenance requirements. The APH 50/75 is the smallest unit and weighs 357kg, with power from a Hatz diesel delivering 7.5kW and generating compaction frequencies at 70Hz. At the top-of-the-range is the APH 85/95, which weighs 760kg and is powered by a Kubota diesel delivering 17.8kW and generating compaction forces of 85kN at 52Hz.
