BOMAG-BF200BOMAG claims versatility for its BF200 city paver

BOMAG’s is showing off its new BF200 city paver, designed to be versatile mobile and highly compact.

It is suited for paving residential developments, cycle lanes or for reinstating 1.5m-wide milling jobs and trench working. It can pave widths of just 1.1m, allowing it to pave within tram tracks if necessary. The maximum paving width is 3.4m.

With the screed and hopper wings folded in the machine is just 1.2m wide, allowing it to pass through narrow spaces. The paver is being offered for European customers with a tamper bar screed, although a vibration type screed will be offered for customers in North America.

A novel feature of the machine is the dual position platform. The upper position allows an operator to stand up high on the deck, giving a good all-round view of the hopper and working area. The lower position allows the operator to work closer to the screed, with the control column tilting back for effective use.

An emissions compliant diesel delivering 54.5kW powers it and the machine weighs 6tonnes unladen.
