Deutz expands lower diesel range and launches LPG versions
First published in bauma Preview - March 25, 2019
Deutz is launching a three cylinder variant of the TCD 2.9 diesel engine called TCD 2.2. Both engines will be made available as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) versions named G2.2 and G 2.9.
The company says the drives represent a further option, particularly for low-load applications in the material handling and compact construction equipment field. The G2.2 is on display at the company’s stand.
TCD 2.9 (30 to 75 kW) and TCD 2.2 (22 to 56 kW) are part of Deutz’s lower power output range.
Additionally, Deutz is exhibiting a hydrogen variant of the TCD 7.8.
