Chomping at the bit: Indeco’s mulching heads are ready for rough-action duty

Indeco says that its new IMH series of hydraulically-driven, boom-mounted mulching heads will turn an excavator or mini-loader into a powerful land-clearing tool.

Fitted onto carriers from 5-50tonnes, the mulching heads with HARDOX components will easily and quickly fell and clear vegetation. Tasks include including tree felling, site preparation, the management of invasive vegetation, storm damage removal and clean-up applications.

The mulching heads are also available in an SG (stump grinder) version.

Indeco said that the initial investment is low and maintenance costs are reduced. In addition mulching heads offer a decidedly more environmentally-friendly alternative to slash-and-burn.
