Kemroc demonstrates process for creating cement structures at bauma 2019

Kemroc is presenting its Kemroc Schönberger Injector (KSI 5000), an attachment which carries out the Schokem process for creating in-situ soil and cement structures.
The Schokem process, developed in collaboration with Schönberger Bau, is based on a procedure for stabilising soils and producing soil and cement structures, which are expected to be frost proof and crack free.
The company said that cement in a binder solution is injected into the soil and mixed in-situ, without the need for expensive shoring or transport costs for replacing soil.
According to Kemroc, this process creates a foundation with a compressive strength of three to four MPa, depending on soil type and binder content.
Klaus Ertmer, managing director at Kemroc, said: “The solution can be used to protect a construction pit from water coming in. A five-metre deep wall can be made at 30cm per minute, depending on the ground.”
