Terex Washing Systems (TWS) is staging live demos of the company’s AggWash 60 wash plant offsite at KiesWerkObermayr (KWO), a TWS materials processing customer close to the bauma 2019 exhibition site.

The Northern Irish company says that the demo has attracted large numbers of visitors from all over the world during the first two days of bauma. The AggWash 60, which can process up to 60tonnes of material per hour, is handling a combination of excavation, construction and demolition waste during the demos.

“We have the customer so close to the exhibition site that it’s a perfect opportunity to have the wash plant operating for visitors,” said Fergal McPhillips, global business development manager at TWS.

The AggWash 60 wash plant incorporates screening, scrubbing, sizing and recovery of sand on one modular chassis and produces up to six grades of saleable sand. The live demos are offering visitors the opportunity to see a working wash plant processing construction and demolition waste.

The AggWash 60 was designed to address requirements for recycling customers and quarry owners, particularly in the construction, demolition and excavation waste recycling market. The solution has been designed to maximise yields from feed materials with efficiently designed system processes that keep running costs to a minimum.

It comes in a readily portable format which TWS says makes it particularly suitable for green-field applications, contractor use and sites with temporary planning permission.

TWS is staging the AggWash 60 demos in conjunction with its German distributors Kolsch and Christophel. They take place all this week through to Sunday 14 April.
