Wacker Neuson is showcasing a driving simulator that will allow visitors to experience test products before initial prototypes are built.
Virtual reality applications will be used for training purposes and configuring complex machines. Also, a 3D printer will offer demonstrations of how spare parts can be quickly manufactured.
Martin Lehner, CEO of Wacker Neuson, says: “We are not using digital technology to look modern. We want to deliver real benefits to our customers and make their day-to-day working lives easier
The company is also presenting a dual view concept for wheel dumpers which it says will provide drivers with a clear view in the direction of travel when transporting, loading and unloading material. It comes with payloads between 6 and 10 tonnes to help operators easily change their seating position by turning the entire operating and seat console by 180 degrees.
