Wacker Neuson launches dual view dumpers: DV60, DV90 and DV100

A new range of dumpers from compact equipment specialist Wacker Neuson, the DV60, DV90 and DV100, allows the operator to swing their seat through 180 degrees, improving safety and productivity.
“Dual View means visibility in both directions. It means that on a construction site, the operator is very flexible and more productive because the machine doesn’t have to change direction,” said Wacker Neuson’s product manager for dumpers Stefan Kurzmann.
Studies with contractor Costain in the UK, which is the biggest market for dumpers, have demonstrated significant productivity improvements, said Kurzmann. Wacker Neuson has worked with UK contractors, large and small, on the development of the vehicles, he added.
The operator rotates the seat console and the control panel by unlocking the console and turning it to the direction of view and travel. Rear-view and front-view cameras can be installed as an option to increase visibility further.
The dumpers are equipped with other existing Wacker Neuson features such as the hydrostatic drive, the wear-free spring-loaded parking brake, and operation via joystick. In addition to the canopy version or fold-down roll over protective structure, the Dual View models are also available with a cabin. A robust protective grating on the skip protects the operator and cabin from falling material and from damage from an excavator bucket.
