Walterscheid ICVD S1N 370V provides tractive force up to 40kph
First published at bauma - April 11, 2019
Walterscheid is introducing a compact, continuously variable travel drive for construction and agricultural machinery. The ICVD S1N 370V can provide tractive force through a speed range up to 40kph, which is particularly useful where one motor powers several components.
Because the drive does not require friction clutches or additional hydraulic motors, it is more efficient in terms of drag-torque, as well as lower cost than comparable multi-motor designs, claims the company. Despite the compact dimensions of the hydraulic motor and gear box and weight of just 200kg, the drive produces a power capacity of 130kW.
