Faster and more efficient trench compaction

Ammann says that its latest generation ARR 1575 trench roller is said to direct vibratory forces accurately and also features a circular vibrator and two amplitude settings. A precise infrared remote control system maximises safety.
ACEecon, Ammann’s proprietary Intelligent Compaction system, is available on the machine. The system measures compaction progress in real time and the information is provided for the operator through an LED indicator on top of the machine.
Without ACEecon, the operator has to estimate the degree of compaction level achieved. Without the system an operator can over-estimate compaction progress and leave unfinished work behind, leading to quality control issues and a need for costly reworking.
The ARR 1575 is said to be useful in challenging conditions. The machine can overcome a high moisture content in clays due to its compaction efficiency and the tamping effect of the padfoot drums.
