Roadtec claims high efficiency for its latest MTV model, the SB-3000

Roadtec claims that its latest generation SB-3000 material transfer vehicle (MTV) offers high efficiency and manoeuvrability. Because of its high power output and high capacity, the machine is said to boost paving productivity. Paving quality is said to be optimised with the use of the machine, which provides efficient remixing and ensures a more consistent flow of material through to the paver, eliminating both heat and material segregation. Meanwhile its tight turning capability allows it to be manoeuvred precisely onsite, assisted by the precise controls according to the firm. Bright lighting allows the machine to be operated at night, while its unobscured view and CCTV equipment ensures good all round visibility for the operator, maximising safety. Other features of the machine include its good access to service points, reducing maintenance times.
