Improved dozing for Caterpillar’s compact model

One of Caterpillar’s more compact dozer models, the D3, now offers considerable performance gains over the D5K2 it replaces. Upgrades allow the operator to deliver grading accuracy and efficiency according to the firm. The new cab layout offers better visibility, while uprated controls make finish grading tasks easier. The new model also benefits from powertrain advances that help to improve fuel efficiency by up to 10% over the previous model.
