Sandvik’s sophisticated Digital driller tool is a versatile solution for safe training of operators or maintenance teams on Sandvik underground drills. The system can be used for training on the DD422i, DD422iE, DT922i and DL421 models from the firm. Operators learn using a realistic simulator, optimising their transition to the real machine. Digital Driller acts like a real rig, operating with authentic controls and combined with the same control system software as that installed on the actual machines. It is fully integrated with iSURE software, a tunnel management tool for accurate drilling, charging and blasting plans.
