Suited to high capacity aggregate applications, Superior’s new Prime Mine Duty Pulley offers lower weight than earlier designs

Superior Industries claims that its new conveyor drum pulley suits duties in high capacity extraction operation applications. The Prime Mine Duty Pulley is a drum style conveyor pulley manufactured in diameters from 102-762mm and is designed and built with a solid steel end disc, eliminating welding at the pulley hub. Applications for the new pulley include aggregate conveyors using fabric belts, which start and stop under full load frequently.

The new Prime Mine Duty Pulley has many of the same design characteristics as the firm’s Mine Duty 2.0 and Super Duty drum pulleys, but has an optimised design for a lower weight.
