Hyundai Construction equipment is expanding its excavator offering with the addition of the HX210A L model. Power comes from a four-cylinder, 4.5litre diesel delivering 127kW and which meets the Tier 4 Final/ Stage V emissions requirements.
The firm already offers the HX220 excavator model but opted to widen the range with the addition of the HX210, so as to give customers the option of a slightly lighter, lower cost machine. Because the HX210 has a 4.5litre engine instead of the 6.7litre engine in the HX220, it also offers lower fuel consumption.
New bucket teeth are fitted, which are said to offer better digging capabilities and longer wear life. Another important feature is the firm’s 360° vision system, with cameras fitted to the rear of the machine for effective movement detection. This is said to make a major boost to working safety.
Justin Thompson from the firm said, “I think it’s going to be a great entry into the 20tonne class.”
