Dynapac is offering an improved material transfer vehicles, as well as a new high production screed system. The firm’s proven MF2500 feeder now benefits from the sophisticated IMIX technology. This system is claimed to eliminate both material segregation and heat segregation in the mix. The MF2500CS is also now available with the newly developed 1m SW6500 swing app conveyor for long side reach while paving over barriers and inline or echelon paving applications.
In addition, the MF2500CS feeder offers high productivity of up to 4,000tonnes/hour and versatility as it can be used for multiple materials. It also offers low total cost of operation, with around 60-70% fewer wear parts and a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 70% claimed in comparison with conventional MTVs. The novel quick attach (less than 10 minutes with two people) Swing App further reduces investment cost for the contractors using one swing app for multiple machines in their fleet.
The firm is also now offering the latest SD2500CS paver for the North American market. This high-production machine can be used for applications requiring a high-quality finish such as airport runways, racetracks and new highways. Like other models in the SD Paver range, it can also be used for RCC paving duties. The SD2500CS paver benefits from technology such as Truck Assist, Light Assist, Width Assist, and Screed Assist.
The SD2500CS paver can also be equipped with Dynapac’s newly developed V5100THE tamper, high compaction electric screed. With extensions, this allows paving widths of up to 8.1m. The new screed technology allows for different pressures and vibration parameters to achieve high pre-compaction while paving thicker pavements and smoother finish on top layers. The pressure bar system allows up to 70bar to be applied uniformly across the whole width of pavement.
