Liebherr has launched a new crawler dozer that offers improved comfort and access to advanced control system technology.
“Equipped with many new developments for even more operator comfort, excellent grading characteristics and the new standard grading systems, the PR 736 G8 is a do-it-all machine for grading and mining use,” said Peter Mayr, managing director of Liebherr USA.
The machine utilises Liebherr OAS – Operator Assistance Systems. It offers three levels of control: “free grade” for active stabilisation during fine grading; “definition grade” for automatic blade positioning when creating 2D grades; and “3D grade” as an optional GPS machine control system to model complex terrain shapes.
Standard on the machines is Liebherr Active Sensor Control, which stabilises all blade axes.
The crawler dozer is powered by a new 160kW diesel engine that meets level 4f emissions standards, with another option for customers in less-regulated markets.
The PR 736 G8 has an operating weight of 25.5tonnes.
The cabin offers a grab handle with an integrated joystick for the rear ripper, ensuring stable seating when driving over uneven terrain.
