MAJOR-Stand-1 Low ResMAJOR is highlighting its technology-led solutions for customers looking to maximise their screening media performance

MAJOR, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance wire screening media, is launching three new products aimed at maximising the productivity and efficiency of its popular FLEX-MAT range.

The FLEX-MAT ID Enabled system has been designed to track and store screen media data such as panel dimensions and customer-defined details to offer users information at their fingertips for simple reorders. The technology improves convenience and productivity for any operation using FLEX-MAT with ID Enabled installed. It takes the guesswork out of re-ordering and prevents costly mistakes that can result from measuring and ordering incorrectly sized screen media. All FLEX-MAT screen media is now embedded with the ID Enabled microchip. Product information is easily accessed through the company’s new MAJOR App.

The FLEX-MAT Sensor is said to be a valuable and easy to operate vibration data measurement tool with which to review results and fine tune screen machines without shutting down the equipment. The app-controlled vibration analysis sensor enables readings of screen box vibrations within seconds and generates a report that can be sent or reviewed. The simplicity of the system’s design ensures valuable and actionable data without the requirement for a plant shutdown to calibrate the sensor.

“Our focus is on making our customers more profitable and productive. This technology does that by putting a wealth of screen performance data into the palm of their hand,” said Peter Bauer, MAJOR R&D and innovation manager. “The simplicity of our system makes it extremely accessible and allows dealers and their customers to make educated decisions to improve performance and profits.”

MAJOR is also this week launching a new smartphone app to give customers up-to-date information and access to advanced digital tools. The MAJOR App is available for aggregates and mining producers and MAJOR dealers, with customisations for each. Depending on the type of user, the app includes marketing materials, expert documents and MAJOR’s newsletter. It also integrates with new MAJOR technologies, including the company’s innovative FLEX-MAT ID Enabled and the FLEX-MAT Sensor. In addition, the app features an augmented reality (AR) measuring ‘tape’.
