Liebherr is now introducing its Generation 8 dozers to the North American market. The firm claims that its new models offer high-performance grading for the customer and benefit from the latest grading control technology as standard. The first of the models being unveiled in North America is the PR 736, which is powered by the latest Liebherr EVO series diesel, delivering 160kW. This meets the Tier 4 Final emissions requirements and uses a combination of DOC, SCR and DPF systems. However, the machine is also available with other engines for markets with lower emissions requirements.
Depending on specification, the PR 736 weighs up to 25.5tonnes. It is offered with various blade types, straight, semi-U and six-way. Depending on the blade fitted, capacities range from 4.1-5.56m³. In addition, the machine is available with a range of rear equipment options.
