Sullair launches the 800HH-900H compressor with variable pressure and flow

Air compressor specialist Sullair has launched a new compressor, which uses spiral valve technology to deliver variable pressure and flow, the first ever portable compressor to do so.
The 800HH-900H can deliver anywhere from 212litres to 425litres per second at 10 to 14 bar psi. “If you don’t need the pressure and flow, it will calibrate and you don’t use as much fuel,” explains Rus Warner, vice president of rental and infrastructure sales and service for the Americas at Sullair, a Hitachi Group company.
For contractors this means lower fuel costs and a more environmentally responsible approach. For rental companies, the wide range of flows and pressures means that the machine is versatile, making it suitable for many applications and hence more often rented out, delivering a good return on investment.
Compressors of this size can be used for applications including powering tools for road and bridge construction, abrasive blasting and blowing fibre optics down pipelines. The compressor has two engine options: a Caterpillar C7.1 TTA and a Perkins 1206J-E, both Tier 4 Final emissions compliant.
