Superior Industries is expanding its range of Patriot Cone Crushers by adding the new P500 to its product offering

Superior Industries is expanding its range of Patriot Cone Crushers with the addition of the new P500 model.

Specifically, the P500 model Patriot Cone Crusher is engineered to operate most effectively at 350kW. Other specifications unique to the P500 include a head diameter of 1.5m, maximum feed opening of 343mm and closed side settings from 10-50mm.

Notable features of the P500 model cone include its inverted or reverse design of tramp relief cylinders to ensure the hydraulic seals are not exposed to contamination during operation. They also include a tramp relief system designed with fewer accumulators for less maintenance, and an automatic pressure relief valve providing additional protection. Meanwhile the universal crushing chamber design requires no major, time-consuming change outs when transitioning from secondary to tertiary applications. And should there be a loss of clamping pressure, the counterclockwise countershaft rotation causes crusher to open rather than turn down, which can otherwise cause significant damage.
